I know that you’re receiving a lot of emails right now from brands that you forgot had your email address. I, for one, just got a notice from Best Buy about how they’re managing the coronavirus, even though I used my work email once to buy a $5 mousepad 4 years ago.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don’t want to reiterate everything that’s being said, but I do want to take a moment to acknowledge how tough this is.
Some of your businesses are struggling, and many of us are starting to see this touch our lives in ways we didn’t predict. There’s no blueprint for how we manage this, but my heart is so full when I see the ways our community is coming together to support each other.
We know that in order to keep your business running through what could be a recession, you need to keep your marketing and sales programs running. We are still your partner in these efforts and will continue to work with you to create great content.
Even if we won’t always be able to get out on set to shoot new video over the next little while, there are lots of ways we can tell your story:
- Repurposing content we’ve already created, and adding new messaging through text on screen or voiceovers
- Working with stock video
- Creating user-generated-content campaigns
Budgets might be tight, so if you want to talk about low-cost ways you can use video in your content plans, we’re here to brainstorm ideas and share effective campaigns!
We’ve spent a lot of time talking to both our in-office staff and amazing freelance and contract partners about how we want to handle this moving forward.
We’re a team, and it’s important that everyone feels safe, and knows that they have the space to prioritize their health and wellbeing. For us, that means going above and beyond the government and public health guidelines.
We also love our work, and will always find ways to continue doing it – even if we can’t be together.
Our team is safe and healthy, and we’ll do everything we can to support them and their families. (In fact, Dave & Brandon have already offered to bring me groceries, because they rock!)
And, we’ll do everything we can to support you and your work family.
If you have any questions about how we’ll be working together moving forward, or if you’d like help finding budget-friendly ways to tell your story, please give us a shout!
