The brief we built was ambitious. Create a single-shot, commercial-style brand video that would resonate with both investors and the general public. We partnered closely with Linamar’s executive and marketing teams to build a video design that was visually striking, technically challenging, and strategically smart. How it came together.
A one-take video demands more than just precision, it demands choreography.
We built six custom sets inside the atrium at Linamar’s corporate office in Guelph, Ontario. Then we blacked out the space, rigged it for lighting and sound, and rehearsed it like a stage production.
Our actress had one shot to nail her lines. Our camera op wore a full steadicam rig, walking backwards through the entire sequence. Every movement, every cue, every lighting change had to hit on time. And after weeks of planning, we nailed it - giving us a cinematic walkthrough of Linamar’s world in a single, seamless take.
